The genus Quercus (oak) contains about 600 species, this beer may be one more!
Witbier is a style we drink a lot at the brewery, as well as amongst our friends. Was all it took to brew our very own Wit.
The combinaison of wheat and Pilsner malts gives the Witbier its famous white color. The flaked wheat and the yeast remaining in suspension, contribute to its hazy look. The Styrian Golding hop gives the beer this beer bitterness as well as an herbal and floral character. The Hallertauer comes at the end with a spicy note, on top of the curacao orange peels and coriander seeds that are so typical of the Witbier style.
